class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Focal One est un appareil m\u00e9dical destin\u00e9 au <strong>traitement de cancers localis\u00e9s de la prostate par ultrasons (HIFU)<\/strong> r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 certains crit\u00e8res. L\u2019\u00e9nergie est d\u00e9livr\u00e9e par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire d\u2019une sonde (transducteur) capable \u00e0 la fois de rep\u00e9rer la tumeur par \u00e9chographie et de d\u00e9livrer les ultrasons. Cet appareil permet d\u2019inclure une imagerie ext\u00e9rieure (par exemple l\u2019IRM, les biopsies positives, le PET-scan) et de fusionner cette image avec celle obtenue en temps r\u00e9el. Le traitement par HIFU peut ainsi \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>tout ou une partie de la prostate en fonction de la tumeur<\/strong> et des conditions du traitement. La zone cible d\u00e9truite par chaque impulsion de la sonde est ellipso\u00efdale et mesure 5 mm de hauteur sur 1,7 mm de diam\u00e8tre. La bri\u00e8vet\u00e9 de ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne emp\u00eache la diffusion de la chaleur autour de la zone cibl\u00e9e. Le traitement dure entre 30 \u00e0 90 minutes et peut \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9 sous anesth\u00e9sie loco-r\u00e9gionale.<\/p><h4><strong>Contr\u00f4ler la maladie avec moins de risques d\u2019effets secondaires<\/strong><\/h4><p>Les avantages technologiques de Focal One &#8211; mini-invasif, pr\u00e9cision et capacit\u00e9 ablative &#8211; en font, lorsque l\u2019indication peut en \u00eatre retenue, une nouvelle voie entre la surveillance active et un traitement plus radical. Pour les patients dont la paroi rectale est \u00e9paissie en raison de traitements ant\u00e9rieurs (chirurgie du rectum, radioth\u00e9rapie), le traitement par HIFU peut \u00eatre
